After completing of a Masters degree in Educational Science Ute knew that her heart was beating more for art and design. So she and her family moved from Germany to Australia which gave her a chance to follow her heart and change her career.

Ute is not only a naturally gifted illustrator but a very versatile designer with an eye for detail which has made her a most valuable member of the Media on Mars team.

In her spare time, Ute makes beautiful things with her sowing machine!
