Media on Mars worked closely with SECCA to design and develop an app that provides a safe, appropriate way to educate about sexuality. The app recognises the rights of people with disabilities to information about relationships and sexuality. Media on Mars and SECCA believe that education in this field minimises children’s vulnerability to abuse and maximises the quality of their lives.
Sexuality education is a sensitive area and it is particularly challenging for children with disabilities. SECCA (Sexuality Education Counselling & Consultancy Agency) is a not-for-profit organisation that supports people with disabilities as they start forming and maintaining relationships.
